When it comes to apartments, often the idea of home that you have does not do justice to the Italian reality. In Italy, as already mentioned, the culture of the house is an art recognized and even admired by the people of the Atlantic. The choice of an apartment, however, differs much from the choice of a house otherwise, such as a villa, not least for the parameters of assessment.
A villa, as well as for the interior, requires a strict evaluation of appearance exterior; IS important in choosing an apartment, but not as much, in fact, when choosing a house from exterior high aesthetic value.
In an apartment, while importing the area in which it is leased or aspect of the building in which it is prepared, the more important aspect is the interior; focal points in their choice, usually, are: space, number of rooms, services, the state of the walls, the interior decoration, color and exposure to the sun.
Only minor (but still not to ignore) are, however, parameters such as: the appearance of the building, the geographic location and the “reputation of the neighborhood.” While before there was a clear distinction between apartments and villas, also according to the inhabitants thereof, now that distinction is not so immediate.
In the past, the villas (the preserve of a few rich and famous) indicated a standard of living undoubtedly high, and the apartments were often snobbati, especially by those who wanted to show off its economic and today apartments are requested also and especially by VIP and businessmen, more and more often in search of privacy and escape from the chaos of their stressful lifestyle.
As with other types of houses, apartments also have evolved taking on modern styles, with entry only and shows that incorporating lounge and kitchen, bathroom and accessories are no longer relegated to a hallway and rooms are often not clearly separated from the rest of the house.
Terraces and gardens have become part of this type of house, which increasingly became a target destination for the buyers who, while seeking greater intimacy, and wanting to reduce the visibility of their being public figures, do not want to relinquish that side a relaxing garden terrace and a well are about to give in a modern villa.
Apartment no longer equal to the house of the second level. This indicates our society. A society that chooses a path, if required, also by increases in population density, leaving the apartment the resolutive suffer from time.
